Electric Vehicle Battery Charger with Regenerative Braking and Photovoltaic Supply

Resumen

Considerando el aumento del uso de vehículos eléctricos alrededor del mundo y los problemas que sus baterías presentan, este documento presenta el diseño y simulación de un dispositivo que permite el uso de la energía entregada por el motor eléctrico durante el proceso de frenado.
Además, para incrementar la autonomía del vehículo se ubica un PV sobre el chasis para así
suministrar energía al motor o a las baterías. El dispositivo que captura y entrega esta energía es un convertidor DC-DC bidireccional ubicado entre el motor y la batería, el cual se encuentra
conectado en paralelo con un convertidor Boost que opera como un seguidor del punto de máxima potencia para aprovechar eficientemente la energía entregada por el PV. Los resultados de simulación muestran que la energía entregada por el motor el PV y las baterías puede ser usada de buena manera y de esta forma aumentar la eficiencia del vehículo.
