Abstract
3D animation for Graphic Design is more associated with fantastic and illustrative projects and narratives than with millimetric finite elements, whose learning demands a great intellectual and technological effort on the part of institutions. His motivation is based on valuing other media/fields: drawing, photography, cinema, computer science, video games, machine manufacturing, architecture, among others. The first exercises with software will seem instrumental, and then unleash creativity. Analog 2D animation had demands that have been diluted in digital fields, but it is good not to ignore them. With the help of video and the Internet, these gaps are reduced, speeding up learning. In this writing, the history behind the
origin of this technology is viewed and practical projects, programs used and their difficulties are explained. A panorama of international events that support research and technology milestones is given at a level of realism that grows day by day.
