Abstract

This document exposes a results oriented to the objective of designing a transmedia training strategy for the university radio of the department of Tolima, in accordance with Law 1978 of 2019 for the promotion of ICT, of Colombia. To do this, a theoretical framework was worked on, consisting of the ecology of the media, as a theoretical perspective, the transmedia narrative, as a field, and university radio, as a context. Also, the qualitative approach was worked on, from a multiple-type case study design, the scope was exploratory, revision techniques, documentary type, the in-depth interview and the digital ethnography, applied to a sample of experts and another of important cases of documents, directors, workers and web pages of the university radios, which are part of the University Radio Network of Colombia. Finally, the information collected and analyzed allowed us to conclude that university radio plays an important role for academic communities since it is a bridge that strengthens the exchange of knowledge between the university and society. However, it is necessary that these media have the necessary economic resources to strengthen their transmedia production conditions.
