Abstract
Nowadays, changing environments have become a constant that affects the normal business development. This has meant that the only sure thing for companies is continuous change in order to take advantage of new opportunities that arise in the market. This article seeks to present business associativity as a strategy that allows knowledge management, innovation and learning, based on the resources and potentialities that are within the companies, in the relationship with other companies and above all focused on the customer. A documentary review was carried out, selected for the convenience of the researcher. The results showed that business associativity is a key strategy to generate competitiveness, which can be expressed in different ways such as industrial districts, clusters, business networks and collaborative ecosystems. The associative work manages to generate processes of structural change based on own and shared knowledge to increase competitiveness, profitability and development.
