Abstract
The appropriation of inclusive design in the planning and construction of more accessible cities is becoming increasingly important, based on the continuous improvements that the public sector has formulated as part of government policies for various sectors. Thus, we propose to analyze the degree of inclusion that the designs of spaces and signage of the hotels and hostels of the historic center of Santa Marta have, to produce recommendations from design, accessibility policies and communication, to formulate guidelines that reduce the discrimination index and increase integral development. Therefore, in this research we have used the application of interviews as an instrument that allows the involvement of all the actors that are related to the subject in question, so that they contribute to the knowledge acquisition by consensus.
