Apuntes sobre la masacre como representación del conflicto: El Salado

Abstract

Currently, the massacres that took place during the armed conflict of the 1950s, until the disappearance of the Autodefensas Unidas de Colombia (auc), are subject to analysis in Colombian academy. Their evidence itself makes them susceptible to diverse interpretations and for this reason the massacres have been representative in the armed conflict. These facts have been described by the state, the media and literature: this text reference is made to the El Salado massacre and its expression of violence, with the purpose of reflecting on how this form of barbarism it is one of the most acute and cruel representations in the armed conflict.
